89. Investment Analyst, Special Situations and Event-Driven Fund (Suburban NY)

Our client, a rapidly growing suburban-NY based investment fund with outstanding returns, would like to add an experienced Analyst to their team. The fund targets companies with complex legal issues like patent infringement, antitrust claims, restructurings, special situations, and corporate malfeasance impacting their stock and/or bond prices. They also invest in distressed situations often taking an activist approach. The Analyst will be part of a small team of experienced investors who work collaboratively in a friendly culture. Top candidates for the role should have 3-6 years of experience combining an Investment Banking Analyst program with relevant special situations credit investing background. Analysts need deep intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and an amiable personality. They will not consider lawyers. Compensation: $150-175,000+ bonus.
